Sharon D Smith

Sharon D. Smith, a.k.a., Brown Coat, is a new author based out in Jackson, Tennessee.  She has two grown daughters and three grandchildren and several bonus grandchildren. She is the fifth oldest of eight siblings which are four sisters, and three brothers.

Her love of reading and the different characters in her life inspired her to tell her story of life’s struggles and how you can choose to overcome them with love, laughter, music, and faith. We all have a story to tell, and it was time to tell hers.

In her spare time and being newly retired after 28 years at her job, she spends her time reading, trying to fulfill her bucket list and spending as much free time with loved ones, especially her grandchildren.  She loves to read all genre of books, but what inspired her to tell her story was if she can help one person overcome their struggles in life and make them feel better about their self, she will have accomplished what she expected out of her book.  Her cheerleader spirit has brought laughter and love to those in her life and she hopes to spread it to others.
